Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk. Every effort is made to keep the website up and running smoothly. However, Friars RM Limited takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
We rely on a third party for all our deliveries and therefore are unable to guarantee delivery dates. Occasionally during busy periods there can be delays that are beyond our control but we will inform customers of any issues that we are aware of.

£5.99 - Next Working Day Delivery (1 working day). Order by 3PM.
Orders placed on Friday after 3pm for Next Working Day delivery will NOT be dispatched until the following Monday.
We ONLY dispatch orders Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
Currently, we only deliver within the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands. If an attempt to bypass the system is made and a delivery address outside of the UK is used Friars RM Limited cannot be held responsible if the order is dispatched and lost in transit. Any resulting charges made by Royal Mail for processing the parcel must be paid for by the customer.
To ensure prompt delivery, please make sure you enter the correct address and postcode when placing your order, Friars cannot be held responsible for late or failed delivery if the address or postcode are entered incorrectly.
Packing sometimes takes place at weekends and on bank holidays, so you may receive a shipping notification for orders that have been packed, but will not be collected until the next working day.
The majority of parcels are sent with Royal Mail, occasionally large or overweight parcels will be sent with a courier. If your order is over £50 in value, then a signature will be required upon delivery.
We accept no liability if delivery is not made due to the recipient not being available or due to the recipient failing to contact their local Royal Mail sorting office or courier depot within a reasonable time to arrange collection or re-delivery. We reserve the right to charge a fee for re-delivery of items that are returned to us for this reason. If a refund is preferred instead of re-delivery, then the original postage charge will not be refunded, only the cost of the goods.

If your parcel fails to arrive, please contact us as soon as possible, you can find details of how to do this on the contact us page of this website. If your order is lost in transit, we will either re-send your order or offer a full refund, including delivery charges.
When placing your order, a phone number will be required. Please be assured that we will only contact you by phone if there is an issue with your order. It may also be supplied to the courier in case of any issues arising with the delivery.
Yes. We offer a free gift message option that can be included in your parcel. Please ensure your message is spelled correctly, as it’s printed automatically and not checked by our team. The sender’s name will appear on the gift card. Please note that we do not offer a gift-wrapping or personalisation service.
Our eGift Cards are sent electronically on the date you specify to the email address given.
Payment for the gift card will be charged on purchase, not on the date of issue, and are valid for 12 months from issue.
The value of the gift card is your choice. The gift card will be allocated to the recipient's account in the form of e-wallet credit, which can be redeemed at the final stage of the checkout. Confirmation of the Gift Card will only be sent to the purchaser once the order is confirmed by ourselves. Gift Cards can only be cancelled by the purchaser within 1 hour of purchase and will not be valid until a confirmation email is received.
Unwanted Gift Cards can not be returned, and card codes can not be used to purchase another gift card.
If the items purchased total less than the gift card amount the remaining funds will stay in the e-wallet to use on the next purchase, if the items purchased exceed the gift card amount the remaining value must be paid by card in order to complete the order. Items bought using gift cards can be returned or exchanged but not refunded, only additional monies paid over and above the gift card will be refunded and a new gift card code will be issued.
We reserve the right to amend these terms & conditions in relation to our products and the purchase of them, where we consider it reasonable and necessary to do so. The terms do not affect your statutory rights.
We accept most major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Solo and Maestro. Payments can also be made through PayPal, Amazon
payments and Google Pay.
When placing an order, please enter the registered billing address for your credit or debit card correctly to ensure a prompt service. If your billing address has both a house name and number, please ensure the number is also included in the first line of the address, as this will be required for the AVS check. Unfortunately, we cannot accept payments from cards registered outside of the UK, however, payments can be made through PayPal; it is not necessary to have a PayPal account.
We use a secure payment gateway called Shopify-Pay which uses encrypted data to ensure your transactions are secure, a padlock icon will show up in the bottom right corner to indicate that you are in a secure area.
All prices are listed in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate. We may change prices or products without prior notice, and all items are subject to availability. If a product you’ve ordered becomes unavailable, we’ll notify you as soon as possible. Our products have a minimum shelf life of two months, although most last much longer. If you’d like to know the best-before date of a specific item, please contact us for details.
Only discount codes issued directly by Friars through our newsletters, emails, or social media will work on our website, and most are linked to your email address. Codes from third-party websites are not valid. Only one discount code can be used per order, and order discount codes cannot be combined with Buy X Get Y product offers — if both are applied, only the entered discount code will be used.
Yes. Chocolates and gifts containing alcohol can only be purchased by customers aged 18 or over.
You have the right to cancel your order in writing within 14 days of delivery, in line with the Distance Selling Directive. To cancel, contact us using our contact form or email sales@friars.co.uk. Returned goods must be unopened and in good condition, and return postage is at the customer’s expense. Once we receive the goods, we’ll refund the purchase price, including the original delivery charge.
We take great care to ensure all products arrive in perfect condition. If an item is damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately upon receipt. If returned within 30 days, unopened and in its original packaging, we’ll replace the item or refund the purchase price. If you’re not satisfied for another reason, please contact us to explain the issue — we’ll review your case and either offer a replacement or refund. If the product is found to be in perfect condition, we reserve the right to charge the full amount for the goods.
You can place an order as a guest or create a Friars account to make future purchases quicker and easier. When you open an account, we collect your name, address, contact details, and payment information to process your orders securely. Payment details are handled through a secure server and are not stored. You’ll create a username and password to access your account — please keep these details confidential and contact us immediately if you believe your account is being used without authorisation.
